5. Rights of the data subject

Requests about these rights: info@finmasiko.fi.

Right of access

You can check the personal data we store. Data you have given yourself is on the webshop account page. Data given by phone is in the invoicing system used to create the invoice. You can ask customer service for it.

Right to rectification

You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data. On the webshop account you can change, correct or delete data you have provided and choose whether to receive marketing. We aim to add account tools so that managing your own data is as easy as possible.

Right to object

You can object to processing if you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully.

Direct marketing

You have the right to forbid the use of your data for direct marketing.

Right to erasure

You can ask us to erase data if processing is no longer necessary. We handle the request and either erase the data or give a justified reason why it cannot be erased.

The controller may have a legal or other right not to erase requested data. Accounting material must be kept for the period set in the Accounting Act (chapter 2, section 10), 10 years. It cannot be erased before that period ends.

An erasure request can be sent to info@finmasiko.fi, made by phone on +358 44 282 5408, or made in the shop. Legislation or unpaid invoices may require us to keep some customer data despite a request.

Withdrawing consent

If processing is based only on consent, and not for example on a customer relationship, you can withdraw the consent.

Restriction of processing

You have the right to require that we restrict processing of disputed data until the matter is resolved.

Right to lodge a complaint

You can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if you believe we breach data protection law when processing personal data.

6. Regular sources of data

Customer data is obtained in connection with telephone sales or a webshop purchase.

7. Regular disclosures

Data is not, as a rule, disclosed outside Fin Masiko Oy for marketing. Our service providers follow data protection law. Email is sent through WhatsApp, Mailchimp and Mailmunch.

8. How long data is kept

9. Processors

Data is processed by Fin Masiko Oy employees. Partners also process personal data indirectly:

We may outsource part of the processing to a third party. Contracts then require that data is processed in line with data protection law and otherwise appropriately.

10. Transfers outside the EU

Personal data is not transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

An exception applies to email sent through Mailchimp and Mailmunch. Data may regularly be transferred outside the EU or EEA. When that happens we ensure an adequate level of protection by agreeing confidentiality and processing terms as required by law.

11. Automated decisions and profiling

We do not use data for automated decision-making or profiling.

12. Does my data go to third parties?

Some necessary data is passed to third parties so that payment, delivery or marketing messages can take place. Address and contact details are passed to the logistics provider for delivery. Webshop events are passed to a content and marketing system that only we can access. Email and text messages are handled by the companies that send them. In invoicing, payment data goes through the payment provider.

Each party receives only the data needed for the service and may not use it for anything else. Transfers use encrypted connections.

13. Cookies and tracking

The site uses cookies and browser features such as browser storage. Cookies are small files that help us collect information about webshop users and keep the shop working. They are used for the basket, identifying the user and signing in.

Cookies can be deleted in the browser settings. New cookies are stored when you visit the site again. Accepting cookies and their use is required. We inform visitors about cookies on the site.

Cookies are also used to personalise the shop and marketing. The site uses other tracking, including Google and Facebook. They help us analyse and develop the shop and target site content and advertising.
